In Assam, the first ever Indo-Bhutan Friendship Mela ended at Subankhata, Baska district under Bodoland Territorial Council yesterday. It is an initiative to boost the bilateral relations of India and Bhutan. A total of 58 stalls were setup at the mela from both the sides. Various colourful programmes were also organized. Both the neighbouring countries have decided to organize Friendship Melas on regular basis at different places in both the countries.
