Indo-Bangladesh JWG in session to prepare Home-Secretary level talks' agenda

The Joint Working Group of India and Bangladesh is in session in New Delhi today to prepare agenda for the two day Home Secretary level talks beginning tomorrow.

The working group will focus on the implementation of the pact on demarcation of land boundary. In the Secretary level talks the Indian side will be led by Home Secretary, Mr. R.K.Singh whereas Shri Monzur Hussain will lead the delegation from Bangladesh.

Border management, human trafficking, smuggling of narcotics and other goods are likely to dominate the agenda. Efforts to check infiltration of illegal immigrants will also come up for the discussion in the discussions.
