Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that border sealing works at Dhubri district along the Indo- Bangladesh border will be completed in 2017. Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today after inspecting Sonahat border outpost in Dhubri, Mr. Singh said that 2 pilot projects are on to find out the ways to prevent riverine infiltration. <br/><br/>Mr. Singh said that sealing of border in Karimganj sector will be completed in December this year. The Union Home minister said that the Centre is eager to find out ways to control flood and other natural calamities. Mr. Singh stressed that steps need to be taken to prevent encroachment of tribal land in Assam.
