Indo-Bangla Home Secretary-level talks set to begin

Joint Working Group of India and Bangladesh will hold deliberations on implementation of the pact on demarcation of land boundary on Friday in New Delhi.

The working group will discuss a host of issues.

It will prepare agenda for the two day Home Secretary level talks beginning from Saturday. The Indian side will be led by Home Secretary, Shri R.K. Singh whereas Shri Monzur Hussain will lead the visiting delegation.

Border management, human trafficking, smuggling of narcotics and other goods are likely to dominate the talks.

During the talks issues like efforts to check infiltration of illegal immigrants, will also be discussed during the talks.
