The condition of Jnanpith Award winning eminent Assamese litt’rateur Dr. Indira Goswami is stated to be still critical. Pen-named as Mamoni Raisom Goswami, the 68-year-old litterateur is undergoing treatment at a specialised care unit in the Gwahati Medical College and Hospital after being flown in from Gurgaon on Thursday last.Doctors attending the litterateur said her condition continues to be unchanged. The Assam Government has announced to bear all expenses of treatment of the eminent litterateur.
