Air Chief Marshal P B Naik has said that indigenous capabilities will play a major role in strengthening civil and defence aviation in the country. <br/> <br/>Talking to newsmen in New Delhi on Tuesday on the sidelines of the seminar Air Chief Marshal said that the core competent in the area is technology driven. <br/> <br/>He said there is a need to expand indigenous ways through designs, manufacture and lifetime support. <br/> <br/>Deliberating on the needs of aero-space industry in the country, he said that there a requirement from microchips to turbine plates. <br/> <br/>He said there is an urgent need for civil, public sector and private to identify the areas of cooperation for moving ahead with concerted efforts for technology development<br/>
