In Men's Wrestling, India's Amit Kumar has entered the quarterfinals of the 55 kg Free style Event.

The 18 year old Sonepat wrestler, youngest ever wrestler to represent India at the Olympics, defeated Hassan Rahimi of Iran 3-1 to enter the next round.

Amit will now face Vladimer Khinchegashvili of Georgia in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, another Indian Grappler Narsingh Pancham Yadav lost his opening match to Matthew Gentry of Canada 1-3 in the 74 kg Free style category.
