The United States has briefed Pakistan on President Barack Obama's decision to endorse India for a permanent seat in the UN Security Council and assured Islamabad that it is not at its expense. State Department spokesman P J Crowley said in Washington that the US support to India's bid was a reflection of the growing importance of the region. He said Pakistan should not see this as something that comes at their expense.He was commenting on the statements from the Pakistani leadership expressing concern about US endorsement of India's bid for the Security Council seat.
