India's unity in diversity hailed abroad: Swaraj

Hailing the country's unity in diversity, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said there are high demands for setting up Indian cultural centres in countries across the world. <br/><br/>Speaking at the first edition of 'Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav' in New Delhi, Mrs Swaraj said that there is tremendous excitement for Indian cultural traditions abroad and India's unity fascinates people. She said, India is one despite so much diversity. <br/><br/>The excitement in foreign countries over Indian culture is more than what it is in the country. Mrs Swaraj said Prime Minister Narendra Modi toured five Central Asian nations and each and every country demanded that New Delhi should set up an Indian culture centre there.<br/><br/><br/> Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma said the unity of Indians amid diversity is its identity. The Cultre Ministry has organised the ongoing seven-day event.
