India’s technological prowess was put on full display at the impressive Pride of India Expo on the sidelines of the Indian Science Congress. More than 23 DRDO labs from all over the country have showcased their models, prototypes, tanks and other stare of the art equipment. An actual Arjun Main Battle Tank minus the ammunition which is to be delivered to the army is one of the main showpieces. Addressing a press conference, the PRO, DRDO, Mr. Ravindran spoke about the emerging trends in modern warfare.The wall climbing robots and the snake robots developed by the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robots, Bangalore, are star attractions at the expo.
