India's Republic Day being celebrated across West Asia region

<br/>India's Republic Day is being celebrated across the West Asia region on Tuesday with great enthusiasm and fervour. National flag was hoisted at various Indian and patriotic songs by Indian school children were the highlights on the occasion.<br/><br/>In UAE, the Indian Embassy’s Charge d’ Affaires hoisted the flag at Indian Embassy at Abu Dhabi, while Consul General of India Venu Rajamony hoisted the flag at Dubai and read out extracts from the Address to the Nation by the President of India. The children of Indian High School presented cultural and musical program of patriotic songs in the presence of large number of people from Indian origin and local population.<br/>In Saudi Arab, the Indian Ambassador Talmiz Ahmad hoisted the flag at Embassy campus while reports of celebrations of the Republic day have also been received from Indian Missions in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Egypt, and other countries in the region.
