India's oldest voter at 103 years of age gets first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

<span style="color: #222222;">In Himachal Pradesh India's oldest voter Master,Shyam Saran Negi at 103 years of age, was administered with the first jab of  Covid-19 vaccine in Kinnaur district, yesterday.  Shyam Saran Negi, who retired as a school teacher is believed to be India's oldest voter who hails from the tribal Kinnaur district.<br />''<br />''A retired school teacher master Shyam Saran Negi, who is believed to be India's oldest voter was accorded a warm welcome by doctors at the vaccination centre set up in the Primary Health Centre, Kalpa in Kinnaur district. After receiving the vaccination, he urged all eligible to get inoculated to fight against COVID-19. It may be recalled that the centenarian, who is a firm believer of democracy has never failed to cast his vote in any election. He had also participated in the 1951-52 general elections which was the country's first voting exercise.</span><br />
