India's robust media and entertainment industry with growing number of internet subscribers, provide huge opportunities for content creators, curators, advertisers, app developers and online streaming companies. <br/><br/>This was stated by Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu while addressing the 12th Indo- US Economic Summit in New Delhi today. <br/><br/>He said the regional markets also have huge potential for growth of the industry as content consumption is getting more and more localized. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu said the country offers the world's largest base of young work-force and well functioning democratic system, along with its pro-reform government. <br/>'<br/>Talking about Urban Development sector initiatives, the Minister said schemes including Smart City Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation and Swachh Bharat Mission are all based on the principles of urban renaissance.
