India's infrastructure sector output grew 5.3 per cent in May, slightly faster than an annual growth of 5.2 per cent in April. Government data released today said, during April-May, output rose 4.9 percent from the 7.9 per cent a year ago. The infrastructure sector accounts for 26.7 per cent of country's industrial output.
