Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has said that India's main focus is on all round development of Nepal. <br/><br/>Speaking at the farewell reception, hosted by Mahamana Malviya Mission, Nepal in his honour at Kathmandu this evening, Rae said that after Nepalese Prime Minister's visit to India last year all developmental projects are now on fast-track and being monitored regularly. <br/><br/>He said that both countries are having historical and very strong relations and embassy tries to further strengthen them as per the demand of the time. Referring to Kashi-Kathmandu relationship Rae said that Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is not only a cradle of great civilisation but also a cradle of leadership of Nepal. <br/><br/>Earlier, Vice President of Nepal Nanda Bahadur Pun complimented Shri Rae for successful completing his tenure as Indian Ambassador and said that Nepalese people will never forget his contribution. <br/><br/>A number of other dignitaries including ministers, parliamentarians, diplomats, bureaucrats,intellectuals and journalists were also present on the occasion. Shri Ranjit Rae is retiring at the end this month.
