Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said, India's image has got a boost in the international arena with the surgical strike by the Indian Army on terror launch pads across the LoC. <br/><br/>He gave away various awards to senior cinema artists in commemoration of the late thespian Sivaji Ganesan in Chennai this evening. In his address, he said, India is a peaceful nation, and has never gone in any mission to conquer other nations. <br/><br/>However, despite India's peace initiatives with all neighbours, Pakistan continues to aid and abet terrorism against India, which cannot be accepted. <br/><br/>He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown the country that India cannot accept it at all.<br/><br/>The Minister reminded that despite different problems that crop up in different parts of the nation, India is one. He said, problems need to be resolved through peaceful means. <br/><br/>He also said, cinema is a mighty medium to educate, inform and motivate people but at the same warned that it is also capable of polluting the atmosphere with negativities.
