India's handicraft exports have grown 10 per cent to nearly 14 thousand eight hundred crore rupees during the first nine months of this fiscal. According to Textiles Ministry, the size of the art metal wares grew by six per cent , followed by woodwares 10 per cent , hand-printed textiles and scarves 18 per cent and imitation jewellery 14 per cent. During April-December 2014, the handicraft shipments stood at 13,460 crore rupees.
