India's foreign exchange reserves have increased by 163.8 million US Dollars to touch a new lifetime high of 393.612 billion dollars in the week ended 11th August 2017. An RBI release said foreign currency assets, a major part of the overall reserves rose by 175.6 million Dollars to 369.899 billion dollars.In the previous week, the reserves had increased by 581.1 million dollars to 393.448 billion dollars. Gold reserves remained unchanged at 19.943 billion dollars. India's special drawing rights with the International Monetary Fund however declined by 5.8 million dollars to 1.498 billion dollars, while the country's reserve position also dipped by 6 million dollars to 2.271 billion dollars.
