India's foreign exchange reserves surges by 333.7 million USD

India's foreign exchange reserves have surged by 333.7 million US dollars to reach a fresh life-time high of 360.250 billion dollars in the week ended 15th April.A RBI press release said that foreign currency assets, a major part of the overall reserves, rose by 341.4 million dollars to 336.187 billion dollars in the reporting week.In the previous week, the reserves had risen by 157.4 million dollars to 359.917 billion dollars. Gold reserves remained unchanged at 20.115 billion dollars in the week. India's special drawing rights with the International Monetary Fund declined by 2.9 million dollars to 1.498 billion dollars, while the country's reserve position with the Fund also dipped by 4.8 million dollars to 2.450 billion dollars.
