Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development OECD, a Paris-based think-tank has said that India's economic growth is gaining momentum. The observation comes at a time when the new government is initiating various measures to boost the economy. OECD's readings are based on Composite Leading Indicators CLIs, that are designed to anticipate turning points in economic activity relative to trend. The country's economy which registered sub-five per cent growth in the past two years is expected to see better expansion rate in the coming months. Indian economy is likely to expand in the range of 5.4 to 5.9 per cent this fiscal.
