India's campaign in the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold Badminton tournament ended on Saturday as K.Srikanth and R M V Gurusaidutt lost their respective men's singles semi finals. Srikanth lost to Chinese Huan Gao 8-21, 19-21 in 40 minutes in their first ever encounter.Seeded 12, Gurusaidutt lost his semi-final clash to Chinese Yuekun Chen 16-21, 17-21 in 39 minutes.On Friday, the duo of Tarun Kona and Ashiwni Ponnappa in the Mixed Doubles and the pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Pradyna Gadre in the Women's Singles crashed out of the tournament, after losing their quarterfinal matches.A total of 14 Indian shuttlers had participated in this tournament.In tomorrow's all Chinese final, Yuekun Chen will take on Huan Gao.
