India’s Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Jayant Prasad presented his credentials to Nepal’s President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Kathmandu on Friday.In his statement on his arrival, Mr Prasad said it shall be his constant endeavour to nurture a strong, productive and mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries. He added that India and Nepal share the same challenges, of peace, stability, national integration and of bringing the fruits of development to the people.Therefore, Nepal’s success in meeting these challenges will be equally India ‘s success.Mr. Prasad 1976 batch Indian Foreign Service batch takes over from Mr. Rakesh Sood who left Nepal earlier this month after being appointed Ambassador of France.
