India's Ajay Jayaram has bowed out of the Russia Open Grand Prix Badminton tournament at Vladivostok. In the semi-final today, third placed Jayaram lost to top seed Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia, 17-21, 7-21.In Mixed Doubles, the pair of Akshay Dewalkar and Prajakta Sawant also made an exit after losing to the Japanese duo of Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino, 10-21, 8-21.In Men's Doubles, the team of Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy is yet to play the semi-final against the top seeded local pair of Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov today.
