The Indian women's hockey team went down 3-4 to Ireland in a penalty shootout in the Hawke's Bay Cup tournament in New Zealand on Sunday. In the match played at Hastings, both teams were earlier tied 2-2 after the regulation time.India signed off as the sixth placed team in the eight-nation competition. The other participating teams were:-Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan and Canada.
