The Indian Women's Hockey team defeated Hockey Club Rotterdam 4-3 in their first game played in Rottterdam, Netherlands, today. Ritu Rani scored twice for the winners. The other two goals for India came through Poonam Rani and Namita Toppo. The Indian tour is part of the preparations of the Indian team for the FIH Women Hockey World League Round-3(Semi-finals) to be played at Rotterdam, Netherlands from June 13 to 23. India will now play their next game against the National Team in Utrecht, Netherlands.
