Indian women have bagged a rich haul of medals in the 2011 Commonwealth Women's Freestyle Wrestling championships. In the event held at the Clayton Sports complex in Melbourne, Australia, they won Five Gold, Seven Silver and one Bronze in various categories. The gold medal winners are Babita Kumar – 48 kg, Neha Rathi – 51 kg, Geeta Sharma – 55 kg, Alka Tomer- 59 kg, and Manjot Kaur in the 67 kg category. In the 2011 Commonwealth Men's Greco Wrestling championships, also being held at the same venue, Indian men bagged Five Gold, Seven Silver and one bronze.The Gold medal winners are: Rajender Kumar – 55 kg, Anil Kumar – 60 kg, Sunil Kumar – 66 kg, Manoj Kumar – 84 kg, and Anil Kumar in the 96 kg category.
