Indian women have won the third T20 International against Sri Lanka by five wickets. In Colombo yesterday, after restricting the hosts to 131 for 8, India achieved the target in 18.2 overs, by scoring 132 for 5. A searing 57 off 40 balls from the 18-year-old Jemimah Rodrigues propelled India to a comfortable five-wicket victory.
India now enjoys an unassailable 2-0 lead in five-match series with two matches yet to be played. Rain washed out the second encounter between the two teams.
The fourth T20 between Indian women and Sri Lanka women will be played at the Colombo Cricket Club Ground in Colombo tomorrow.
