Indian women's squash team have won the Silver medal in the Asian Team squash Championships. In the final played at Taipei in Chinese Taipei, they lost to Malaysia by a 0-2 margin. India's performance was better than their bronze-medal finish in the earlier edition of the championship.Sachika Ingale lost in straight games 7-11, 6-11,10-12 to Sivasangari Subramaniam in the first match. Later, Delia Arnold prevailed over India's top player Joshna Chinappa 9-11, 13-11, 11-8, 11-9. Dipika Pallikal was not required to play the third match which could have been decisive had Joshna won her encounter.
