Indian women enter semis of World Cup Kabaddi

Indian women defeated Mexico by 35-21 and entered the semi-finals of Dr BR Ambedkar 6th World Cup Kabaddi 2016 at the Shaheed Udham Singh Stadium at Moonak in Sangrur district, Punjab today. In the men's Pool A match, India defeated Sweden by 58-45 and England got the better of Canada by 41-35. Sierra Leone toyed with Sri Lanka by 70-6 in a one-sided match. Formidable Iran men's team gave a kabaddi lesson to Argentina team by 72-27. With this win, the Iran team scored their third successive win and secured their place in the semi-finals.
