Indian women beat Sri Lanka in Women's Asia Cup T20<br/>

Indian women today defeated Sri Lanka by 52-runs in the Women&apos;s Asia Cup T20 tournament being played at Bangkok.Opting to bat, India posted a modest total of 121 for four in their allotted 20 overs and then managed to restrictSri Lanka to 69 for nine. Opener Mithali Raj hit quickfire 59-ball 62 that included six hits to the fence. Smriti Mandhana and Veda Krishnamurthy also chipped in with useful runs 21 runs apiece. Chasing a modest target, Sri Lanka never looked like inthe race as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Ekta Bisht and Preeti Bose wreaked havoc, running through the islanders&apos; middle order. Ekta and Preeti claimed three wickets each to steer India to a comfortable win. India have maintained their unbeaten run in the tournament winning all four matches so far.
