An Indian woman was arrested with Indian fake currency of 2.85 lakhs rupees from a Pakistan government operated Lahore-Delhi bus at JCP Attari, on Wednesday morning. <br/><br/>Delhi resident Bano Begum concealed fake currency notes of 1000 and 500 rupees denomination packed in carbon paper in a dinner set box. Bano Begum went to Pakistan on 26th March by bus. <br/><br/>Assistant Commissioner Customs V.K. Mahajan said that bus coming from Lahore entered Attari at 08:25 a.m. and during routine checking Bano Begum was arrested with fake currency. <br/><br/>This was for the first time that a bid was made to smuggle fake currency cleverly, said Mahajan. <br/><br/>Earlier on 5th April 180 gram heroine worth 80 lakh rupees was seized from Lahore-Delhi bus. Assistant Commissioner said that after these occurrences customs has revived security checks. Lahore-Delhi bus with 19 passengers left for Delhi After three hours delay.
