In Nepal, at least 31 persons have died, including an Indian woman, and 16 injured after a bus plunged into Trishuli River in Dhading district of Nepal this morning. <br/><br/>Some persons are also missing. Superintendent of Police, Dhadhing, Dhruba Raj Raut told our correspondent that 29 bodies have been identified. <br/><br/>9 women and 11 children are among 31 dead. Two seriously injured passengers have been admitted to Trauma Center in Kathmandu, while 14 others are being treated in a local hospital. <br/><br/>As per the preliminary inquiry, the accident occurred due to the driver losing control on a sharp curve and narrow road. According to reports the driver was in inebriated condition. <br/><br/>The ill-fated bus was on its way to Kathmandu from Rajbiraj. <br/><br/>The rescue and search operation is over and wreckage of the bus has been pulled out from the river.

The rescue and search operation is on. <br/><br/>According to the police, most of the deceased were from Saptari district, and 12 of them have been identified.<br/><br/>Police said, as per the preliminary reports accident might have occurred due to the driver losing control on a sharp curve and narrow road. The bus was on its way to Kathmandu from Rajbiraj.
