India were 103 for 5 wickets on the opening day of the second cricket Test against Australia at Sydney.India got off to a disastrous start with Gautam Gambhir getting out on zero on the third ball of the innings.Virender Sehwag made 30 while VVS Laxman scored 2 runs. For Australia, James Pattinson took 3 wickets for 25 runs. He claimed the wickets of Gambhir, Sehwag, and Laxman.Peter Siddle got Rahul Dravid out for 5. Shortly after lunch Virat Kohli was sent back to pavilion by Peter Siddle. Kohli scored 23 runs.Sachin Tendulkar and skipper MS Dhoni were batting on 32 and 7 respectively.Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first.Australia have already taken 1-0 lead by winning the first test of the four match series at Melbourne.
