Indian Super League's 4th season to kick off in Kochi today

In football, revamped Indian Super League's fourth season will kick off in Kochi on Friday. The ISL will now be a four-month drill — double the length of the previous three editions. Defending champions ATK and Kerala Blasters, will start the proceedings at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. ISL is considered as the country's top-tier league. The winner of the League will get a direct spot in the AFC Cup which is Asia's equivalent of Europe's Europa League. The final is slated for March 17 in Kolkata.
