Indian sub-continent's shared destiny requires greater regional co-operation and connectivity: PM

Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that the Indian sub-continent's shared destiny requires greater regional co-operation and connectivity. Addressing the Indian Ambassadors and High Commissioners Conclave in New Delhi yesterday, he said, India's relations with the major powers of the world and with Asian neighbours are shaped by its developmental priorities. Dr. Singh said, New Delhi seeks stable, long-term and mutually beneficial relations with all major powers and is prepared to work with the international community to create a global, economic and secure environment.
The Annual Conclave, attended by about 120 Envoys, was convened to discuss cross-border terror and India's ties with neighbours including China.
