Government has said that the Indian software companies are on the hit list of terrorists. Speaking at a conference in New Delhi Union Home Secretary G K Pillai said adequate protection would be provided to the software companies keeping in mind the terror threats.He said,the Government is tying up with the private companies to provide maximum cover in order to avoid any future troubles.<br/><br/>Our correspondent Manikant Thakur reports that despite the economic slowdown, the Indian software exports have risen considerably. Indian software exports have risen from 28,350 crore rupees in 2000-01 to an estimated 216,300 crore rupees in 2008-2009.But with the continuous terror threats the economic growth still remains under menace. According to intelligence reports terrorist groups based in neighbouring Pakistan and Bangladesh are planning to attack country’s key installations.These include, nuclear sites, oil rigs and refineries ,business capital Mumbai, national capital Delhi and several Software companies.Many private sector companies have asked government to provide adequate security to them and they are willing to shell out the expenses incurred. Some of them have already hired government security personnel-CISF and CRPF.<br/> <br/><br/> <br/><br/> <br/><br/>
