Indian archers and shooters continue right on target, as they shot-down three more golds today in the Commonwealth Games. Ace shooters Gagan Narang and Imran Hasan Khan won gold in the Men's 50 metres rifle-3 positioning pairs creating a new games record. Gagan Narang has achieved a hatrick bagging three golds in the 2010 games. Gagan had earlier won two golds in the 10 metre air-rifle pairs and individual events. Vijay Kumar won gold for India in the 25 metre rapid fire pistol shooting with a Games record. Gurpreet Singh bagged the Bronze . The first gold of the day for India was shot down by women Archers Dola Banerjee, Deepika Kumari and Bombayala Devi in the recurve team category. The Women Archers created history for India as they won the first medal in Archery that was included in the games after a gap of 28 years. The Indian trio defeated England 207-206, they had earlier dumped Malaysia in the semifinals. Dola Banerjee said, it was splendid team work that succeeded for India. Indian Archery Association president Vijay Kumar Malhotra also expressed happiness over the victory.India hopes for more medials in Wrestling, as three indian women have entered the finals of free style wrestling. India's women grapplers Anita in the 69 kg category, Alka Tomar in 59 Kg and Babita Kumari in 51 kg will wrestle for gold today. In Tennis, India's Somdev Devvarman has entered the Men's Singles final. In the semifinals played a short while ago Somdev easily beat Mat Ebden of Australia. Somdev won the first set 6-3 and quickly wrapped up the second set 6-1.Exuding confidence, a victorious Somdev Devvarman said, he was happy to move into the final. India has so far won 17 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze medals. Australia meanwhile continues to lead the tally with a huge margin with 33 gold, 19 silver and 18 bronze medals. England is at third place with 12 gold, 25 silver and 12 bronze. Intense competition is on for 43 Gold medals which were up for grabs today. Maximum 11 gold medals will be decided in swimming, and 8 medals are in offer in Athletics. Gymnastics and Shooting will each account for 5 gold medals, while Cycling will provide 3 gold, the same as Wrestling. Archery, Weightlifting and Squash have 2 gold medals each on offer today. Indian prospects are bright in Shooting, wrestling and weightlifting events. India's Chandrakant Mali will be hunting for gold in men's 85 kilogram category in weightlifting. In Shooting, the Pairs trap of Women will see the duo of Shreyasi Singh and Seema Tomar in action. Men's Pairs trap gold will also be decided today in Manavjeet Sandhu and Mansher Singh are contesting. Indian hopes prevail in Archery with the men's team in competition in the semifinals of the recurve category. In Boxing, Vijender Singh in 75 kg category and Paramjit Samota in 91 kg category are competing today. The first medals of Badminton and Table-Tennis events will also be decided today. India also has one assured medal in badminton as Indian team contests Malaysia in the mixed team event final. India also hope for medals today in Athletics, Swimming, Gymnastics and Table Tennis events.

Indian shooters shoot-down 2 more golds
