India's Joydeep Karmakar and Omkar Singh have bagged silver medals in the ISSF World Cup Shooting competition. In the 50 metre Rifle Prone event at Sydney today, Karmakar scored 97.2 points in the final round for an aggregate of 681.2. The gold in this event went to Warren Potent of Australia.Omkar Singh won his silver in 10 metre rifle prone men's event with a total score of 681.2. Korea's Jong Oh Jin took the gold in the event.Karmakar missed today a world record by just one point. In the qualification round, he totalled 599 out of 600 which was just a point shy of world record 600.
