Indian shooter Annu Raj Singh clinches Silver medal at ISSF World Cup

Indian shooter Annu Raj Singh on Monday clinched a Silver medal in the 10 metre Air Pistol event at the ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, USA. With this feat, Annu Raj has become the fifth Indian to book a berth in next year's London Olympics. Ronjan Sodhi, Gagan Narang, Hari Om Singh and Sanjeev Rajput are the other shooters who have qualified for the Olympics.The 27-year old shooter ended second overall with a total score of 486.6 points, after scoring 97.6 points in the final. The Gold went to Ukraine's Olena Kostevych and the bronze medal was won by the 2011 European Champion Celine Goberville of France.Annu Raj Singh had never won a World Cup medal before.
