Eminent neurosurgeon and secretary general of Indian Red Cross Society, Dr Satya Paul Agarwal passed away this morning at AIIMS. He was 70. Padma Bhushan Dr Agarwal was a well-known public health administrator. He had played a pivotal role in execution of various disaster relief operations and control of disease. He had been Secretary General of Indian Red Cross Society since 2005. He had also served as Director General of Health Services from 1996 to 2005.
