In United Arab Emirates, UAE, a four day Indian Products Exhibition got underway at the India Trade and Exhibition Centre, ITEC, in Sharjah on Wednesday. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Manohar G Joshi inaugurated the exhibition that has been organised by Maharashtra Economic Development Council, MEDC. The President of MEDC, Vithal V. Kamat was also present on the occasion.

The exhibition is showcasing products and services of 40 exhibitors largely representing the small and medium sectors of Maharashtra. The exhibition is aimed at providing an ideal springboard to Indian SMEs to further explore the huge market potential in the UAE and its neighbouring markets.
