Indian national Gopal Das, who was langusinhing in Pakistan jail for the last 27 years, has been repatriated by Pakistan authorities from Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post, today afternoon. Gopal Dass, who inadvertently entered the neighbouring country in 1984, was sent to jail for life term by Pak Govt. in 1987 on charges of spying. However, his remaining jail term was remitted by the Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on humanitarian grounds following an appeal by the Indian Supreme Court.
