Indian Navy’s Republic Day tableau to reflect Nari Shakti

The Nation will celebrate its 74th Republic Day on the 26th of January. Display of the growing stature of women (Nari Shakti) in the armed forces will be one of the key highlights of the Republic Day parade this year. The Indian Navy and Indian Air Force marching contingent will be led by women officers during the parade.<br />” <br />” The Indian Air Force marching contingent will be led by Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy. The marching contingent of IAF will consist of four Officers and 144 air warriors. Talking to AIR News, Sindu Reddy said that leading the marching contingent on the kartavya path is really a proud moment for her.<br />” <br />” Likewise, Indian Air Force, an Indian Navy marching contingent of 144 young sailors will also be led by a women officer Lieutenant Commander Disha Amrith.<br />” <br />” Briefing media in New Delhi, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Defence Nampibou Marinmai said, the themes of this year's tableaux are mostly based on Nari Shakti.<br />” <br />” Talking to AIR News, Disha Amrith said, leading the marching contingent of the Indian Navy is a lifetime opportunity and it was her childhood dream. She said, today, her dream has come true as she is going to lead the marching contingent on the Kartavya Path.<br />” <br />” Twenty-three tableaux from 17 States and Union Territories and six from various Ministries and Departments will participate in the Republic Day Parade this year at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.<br />” <br />” These tableaux will depict the nation’s rich cultural heritage, economic and social progress and strong internal and external security.<br />” &nbsp;<br />” The tableau of Gujarat will showcase the resplendent confluence of cultural tradition and scientific orientation. It glorifies renewable sources of energy.<br />” <br />” The tableau of Jammu and Kashmir will showcase the pilgrim and recreational tourism potential of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />” <br />” The theme of the tableau is Naya Jammu and Kashmir. The tableau of Uttar Pradesh showcases the three-day Deepotsava being organised since 2017.<br />” <br />” Lighting Saryu Aarti, decoration and illumination of lamps are done in major temples in Ayodhya. The tableau of Haryana reflects design based on Bhagavad Gita.<br />” <br />” It shows Lord Krishna serving as the charioteer of Arjun and giving him the knowledge of Gita and radiates an appeal of spirituality, art and history. The tableau of Assam comprises two parts – Lachit Borphukan on the boat and a structural view of the sacred Maa Kamakhya temple.<br />” <br />” Kerala tableau depicts Nari Shakti and Folk traditions of women empowerment. The West Bengal tableau highlights Durga Puja, the worship of the mother goddess.<br />” <br />”The tableau of Maharashtra is on the background of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. It showcases the feminine power as well as the intangible heritage of the temple style and folk art of Maharashtra.
