With cyclone 'BIPARJOY' expected to land in Gujarat's Saurashtra and Kutch regions, the Western Naval Command of the Indian Navy is prepared to undertake Humanitarian and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations along Gujarat Coast, if required.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' Four warships of Western Naval Command have been loaded with relief materials like food packets, water, medical supplies and other essential commodities. Naval Units also prepared five relief teams at Porbandar and Okha each and 15 relief teams at Valsura, which are on standby to assist civil authorities. In addition, naval aircraft and helicopters are also on standby at INS Hansa in Goa and INS Shikra in Mumbai for embarkation.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' The Indian Navy's Boeing P-8I aircraft in Goa are on standby for aerial recce and transportation of relief material and personnel. Naval authorities are in constant liaison with civil authorities to ensure seamless coordination.
