Indian Navy inducts largest patrol vessel INS Sunayna into service

Indian Navy inducted its largest offshore patrol vessel INS Sunayna into service at Kochi today. The vessel will be deployed for anti piracy operations in Gulf of Aden.

This 105 meter ship designed and build by Goa Shipyard Ltd was commissioned by Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Southern Naval Command at a ceremonial function at Kochi.

INS Sunayna will be more helpful for Indian Navy in its continuous efforts in securing national interest in the Indian Ocean Region, Vice Admiral Satish Soni told media after the commissioning of INS Sunayna.
