Indian Naval Chief arrives in Colombo

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Nirmal Verma, arrived in Colombo today on a five day visit to the Srilanka. Admiral Verma is the senior most Indian military official to visit the island nation in the last six years. <br/> Admiral Verma will be the Chief Guest at the Commissioning Parade of the new batch of Sri Lanka Navy Officers at the Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee. He would award commissioning swords to the newly commissioned officers. The Admiral will also visit the Lanka Indian Oil Corporation at Trincomalee.<br/>
