Indian Naval Academy holds Passing Out Parade in Kerala

In Kerala, 258 Midshipmen and cadets passed out of the Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala in the Kannur district at an impressive ceremonial parade held this morning, November 26.<br />''<br />''The Midshipmen and cadets belonged to the 103rd INA  and Naval Orientation Courses. 16 cadets belonging to friendly navies such as Bangladesh, Madagascar, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Tanzania also passed out after the completion of their training.<br />''<br />''The Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, Air Marshal Balabhadra Radha Krishna reviewed the Passing Out Parade and awarded medals to meritorious cadets.<br />''<br />''Addressing the event, the Air Marshal urged the cadets to be prepared for the full spectrum of threats — be it those arising from conventional or unconventional ones, terrorism, threats from deadly technologies, or hateful ideologies. <br />''He said the next decade will be decisive, in view of the rapid changes in the geopolitical environment.<br />''<br />''The cadets crossed the Antim Pag, marking the completion of their training period. A large number of parents and relatives of the cadets besides the participants of the ThinQ- Sail Beyond Your Horizon — a national level quiz competition organised by the Navy– witnessed the Passing Out Parade. <br />
