Indian Mujahideen founder member held

In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police has arrested a person from Bihar who has claimed to be founder-member of Indian Mujahideen.

According to the Delhi Police, Mohd Tarique Anjuman was apprehended from suburbs of Patna on Thursday and brought to Delhi, where he was produced before a Chief Metropolitan Magistrate who remanded him to police custody for 15 days.

The Police said he was an active member of banned SIMI organisation since 1998 and later was one of the founder members of Indian Mujahideen since 2003 along with Iqbal Bhatkal.
