Indian metal, mineral industry have huge potential to grow, drive global industry

<span style="color: #222222;">Indian metal and mineral industry has a huge potential to grow and drive the global industry. Inaugurating a two-day International Conference on Minerals and Metals Outlook 2030 in New Delhi, Steel Minister Chaudhary Birendra Singh, said that despite various challenges and constraints, the sector is a leading employment generator in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, several initiatives, including satellite mapping and high-tech equipment installation, have been taken to tackle any challenge. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister stressed on reorienting of policy and technology to provide a further boost to the sector. Mr Singh invited global players to invest in the sector.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The conference was organised by the National Mineral Development Corporation as part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Over 500 delegated from nearly 16 countries are participating in the event. </span><br />
