In the Badminton Asia Team Championships at Hyderabad, Indian Men's team continued it impressive run, as they booked a semifinal berth with a 3-2 win over former champions Malaysia Friday. However, Women's team bowed out after losing to Korea, 3-0. H S Prannoy won the deciding singles after India and Malaysia were locked 2-2 in the five-match quarterfinals. Prannoy beat Teck Zhi Soo 21-12, 22-20 to put India in the semifinals.The women's team included PV Sindhu, Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa.
